In the film The Day of the Jackal (1973), the Jackal also drives a white Alfa Romeo, albeit an earlier model. Reference: Graham Norton and guests: Denzel Washington/Paul Mescal/Saoirse Ronan/Eddie Redmayne/Blossoms (2024). Her acting is weak.
Her character is not interesting, just an obsessive agent
Why was she cast in this role when there are so many actresses who could do it better. I’m shocked. Eddie Redmayne can do anything, his acting range is impressive from stage dramas, musicals, to films.
He never disappoints
In this role he is solid in whatever he does. The plot is interesting and engaging…..funny as we root for the Jackal… Not for the MI6 agent.
The location of the series is stunning and the plot is high octane excitement
It cannot be compared to the original, it is a worthy adaptation for today.
